Warhout 40k by Kain-Moerder Warhout 40k by Kain-Moerder
- Excuse me, sir, do you have a spare water chip?
- It ist wrong World, Fraulein. Ich have keine Wasser chip.

-
An explanation for those who can't understand what's going on on this picture.

Krieg is a planet from Warhammer 40k universe. It was destroyed in atomic war, and now it's a radioactive wasteland. Fallout games have a similar setting - WWIII, atomic war, wasteland.

Do you remember special encounter 'Guardian of Forever' in Fallout 2? Let's imagine that a cute female vault dweller from Fallout 1 found it and activated it.

In F2 this portal teleports the player in the time of Fallout 1, but our vault dweller IS in Fallout 1, so she was teleported to _another_ radioactive wasteland instead.

what I would wonder if I were the kriges-man is this: "how can you survive the wasteland without a haz suit and a mask?"

I guess her reply would sound like:

'Usually I wear T51b power armour, but currently it's in repair. By the way, your gas mask is so cute! ^___^'

I can see the Fallout Planet fitting into the Warhammer Universe. Its got mutants, its got power armoured marines and treasure troves of lost technology.

That aside this made me laugh, thanks man.

So who would win, Imperial Stormtroopers vs Brotherhood Paladins.

I guess we should compare space marines with brotherhood paladins. Imperial storm trooper is weaker than BoS paladin in power armor (with anti-energy projectiles coating, as we can read in Fallout I), armed with gatling laser.

I wouldnt say a Brotherhood Paladin can compare to a Space Marine, tech wise Brotherhood Power armour is probaly more like Carapace armour.

If I recall Space Marine armour is made from Adamantium and the Space marines themselves are genetically enhanced super soldiers.

Brotherhood Power Armour I think is just plain steel armour with servo motors and such. They do have some genetic enhancements in Fallout 1 and 2 in form of increased strength etc but not as much as Space Marines.

Though Im far from an expert on the subject.

Well, paladin's armor is definitely not so thick and advanced as SM's, but it way better than carapace armor (in my opinion). In Fallout universe power armor protected it's wearer from energy weapons, and could take a few direct hits from rocket launcher. Plus it's powered, which gives strength bonuses.

In terms of pure tech, SM's power armor beats paladin's armor. My point was that it's not very appropriate to compare storm troopers with paladins, because even having not so advanced armor, paladins will prevail, because even BoS power armor is better than carapace one.

As far as I remember, paladins are 'pure' humans without any genetic upgrades. Brotherhood has (limited) access to cyber implants, but their genetic science is too primitive (ENCLAVE perfected it though).

It's not a problem. We have an interesting discussion. It's all that matters.

I reckon Hellguns could punch through Brotherhood Power armour, while Brotherhood Laser rifles and their Plasma guns would punch through the Carapace armour.

I think it would come down to who is the most skilled.

The Enclave is awesome. You should have been able to join them and purify the wasteland with firey lazors that shoot fire.

Hmm. Hellguns are like gatling lasers in Fallout. BoS power armor gives a good protection from energy weapons. So I guess that storm troopers will be in disadvantage.

The 'fair fight' will be between storm troopers and BoS knights. Knights wear BoS version of combat armor, which is equal to carapace armor from 40k universe.

I hear you. I wanted to join the Enclave and purge all those raiders/mutants/etc, but game designers failed me and made me kill all those nice guys in black power armor.

Seriously, Enclave was cool.
